Description
The All of the US Constitution Signatories history mug lists all 39 of the individuals who signed the US Constitution and lists the colonies they represented. Rhode Island, distrustful of a powerful federal government, was the only one of the 13 original colonies to refuse to send delegates to the Constitutional Convention. Only six individuals of the US Constitution Signatories signed both the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. They were George Clymer, Benjamin Franklin, Robert Morris, George Read, Roger Sherman, and James Wilson.
The biographical History Mugs were created to teach and inspire individuals to learn about our diverse and interesting history. The biographies were researched and written by history enthusiast, Robert Compton. He colorized most of the historic photos and images used on the mugs, which were originally black and white or sepia tone. The images and biographies are imprinted on mugs at his studio in rural Vermont.
